Satan can't attack you without God's permission. All of this happened by Job with God's permission.

Job had boils all over his body from the crown of his head to the soul of his feet. To make matters worse, those whom he thought was his friends accused him of sinning against God as the reason for his suffering, and all that happened unto him. Job also lost his wealth, his health, his support from his wife who told him to curse God and die. Job's suffering did not end with the loss of his children, servants and livestock. Job had just received news from one servant after another that all 10 of his children had been killed, all his livestock were killed and then his servants were killed also. Unexpected storms can be devastating and tragic because they are not planned for and they always show up at a time when least expected. Job received one devastating news after another within hours, if not minutes.

The words of this text are words that were spoken by Job in the midst of a raging, unexpected storm in his life. When Job says, though he 'SLAY ME,' He is saying, even if God kills me, I am still gonna trust Him. Even with the severity of his pain feeling like unto death, Job declares that he will trust God! Job 13:15a Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.
